HOW TO MAKE THE ORANGE BLISS ENERGY BALLS?

Food Processor Vs Blender

Everyone uses a food proceesor to make energy balls. Do i really need one? Techincally speaking NO.

While making them in a food processor is so easy and it processes all ingredients into equal bite sizes in a very less amount of time. It also pulls each ingredient together in a little time.

In a blender the process is little different, you have to blend each ingredient seperately and add them together, This would be the easiest method to do it in a blender. As blending time of cashews is different from almonds. We don not a smooth powder of everything here.

Start by processing the dates in a food processor/blender until pulsed to small pieces.

Add in Almonds pulse for 5- 6 pulses and add in cashews. Pulse for 2 – 3 times till everything is combined.

Add in the lemon/orange juice, zest and chia seeds and mix together.

Make small balls of equal sizes and roll them in between your palms to make a ball.

Use a small cookie scoop to make equal size balls.

Refridgerate the balls for 1 hour.If you use more moisture i.e juice  sometimes they need to harden a bit. Otherwise skip the refridgration process.

Roll in shredded unsweetened coconut and store in the fridge for up to a week in an airtight container.

Look at how beautiful they turned out. Who could resist with just one? You will definetly grab a second one for sure. These will make you snacking experience healthy, tasty and super blissful.
