INSTRUCTIONS TO COVER A SNAPCLIP WITH RIBBON

To cover snapclips (regular size) you need exactly 18 – 20 cms of 3/8 inch ribbon. If you are new to crafting  start with a few extra cms than exact length. A couple of more twists might need extra. It is better always better to have extra than running out of ribbon at the end. You can always trim the extra ribbon than adding more.

Step 1: Open your snapclip, starting at the bottom center place your ribbon at 45 degree angle and stick it with a glue dot. Wrap around the outer edge of the snapclip till the top end. Don’t overlap the ribbon much. 3-4 wraps should bring you to the other other end.

Step 2 : Add a dab of glue to the tip of the clip and wrap around it till the top. Press for 2 seconds letting the ribbon to stick. Turn the direction of the snapclip and from wrap from behind to go to the other side. Use picture for an easy understanding.

Wrap around the other edge towards the bottom of the clip. You should reach the other end by 3 -4 wraps depending on the angle you wrap at.

Step 3 : Wrap till the other end and with a dab of glue secure the ribbon front and behind and trim any excess.
