Heat a skillet, melt coconut oil. Add minced garlic if using. Add broccoli and saute for 3 - 5 minutes till slightly cooked.
Add salt, cooked chick peas and saute for 2 more minutes. Add corinader powder, paprika, garlic powder and coconut. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
Add cooked and cooled rice and mix eveything together amd serve warm.
